Lost and Found

Starring: David Spade, Artie Lange and Sophie Marceau. 98 min, PG-13

If you are looking for a film that has "poop" jokes, dogs getting thrown into dryers and David Spade singing Neil Diamond songs, you've found your flick. However, if throwing your $10.00 into the toliet and flushing three of four times to make sure it all goes down, isn't your idea of amusent, I suggest you find another film. Ridiculous plotline of Spade kidnapping cellist Marceau's dog so he can spend time looking for it with her, gets worse and worse as the film goes on.

Something about David Spade as a romantic lead (or a screenwriter) does not sit well. Even in the film's most romantic scenes he face just screams out, "Bubbye," or some other sarcastic or critical phrase.

I'm not sure how Chris Farley could possibly roll in his grave, but if he saw Artie Lange taking over his roll as Spade's dimwitted, big-boned sidekick, he would find a way. Please don't give the producers of this film anymore money than they deserve and just stay away. Rating: D-
